Page’s has been a longtime local favorite and their Turkey Day catering menu is sure to have your mouth watering instantly. You will have to order in advance (the sooner the better because they’re popular) and you will be able to pick up your order on Wednesday afternoon the day before Thanksgiving. From the grill they have Turkey, as well as, chicken, brisket, ham and pork. As for the sides you will be able to choose in size from a pint all the way up to a full sheet pan. They have all the classics like mashed potatoes and gravy but also offer southern sides like their okra and rutabagas. Cakes and pies are also available for dessert.
New York Bucher Shoppe
If you and your family enjoy premium cuts of meat, I recommend you visit New York Bucher Shoppe. For Thanksgiving you can purchase a free-range turkey, and if you don't want to worry about seasoning, you can choose to have the turkey brined. New York Bucher Shoppe offers a really nice selection of wines and chef prepared sides to make a fantasitc holiday meal.
Tavern & Table
Located out in gorgeous Shem Creek is the next eatery on our list which actually might surprise you. Tavern & Table which is a waterfront restaurant with fabulous seafood offerings actually prepares a scrumptious Thanksgiving which they say they prefer to keep as traditional as possible. They usually offer the ability to dine in the restaurant on Thanksgiving you will definitely need to place a reservation in advance. They also offer what they call the “Take & Bake” option for those of you that prefer to stay home and be lazy all day.
