The Best Brunch Spots In & Around Mt. Pleasant

temp-post-image

I don’t know about you but I love, love, love a good brunch! Unlike your average meal, there is just something more joyful about brunch. It just feels more special than a regular breakfast or lunch and I adore the way that people like to come together for a good weekend brunch. So it should come as no surprise that I love to bounce around Mount Pleasant on the weekends (when I’m not busy helping families relocate here) exploring the various brunch options. Honestly, I could go on forever about all of the wonderfully delicious places you and your friends can grab a great brunch this weekend but I have narrowed it down to a few favorites. I strongly encourage you to try them all! Oh and please comment below on your favorite place to grab brunch in Mount Pleasant; I love hearing from all of you!

Vicious Biscuit

If you could only use two words to describe Vicious Biscuit, they would have to be comfy and creative! If you have never been, I obviously need to encourage you to try a biscuit; it is in the name after all. But beyond that, they have a fantastic array of options from healthy to downright glutinous. Oh, and they have a delightful little cocktail menu that includes the classic mimosa, their signature vi’mosa, and an insta-worthy bloody mary that comes with house-made spicy mix, Tito's vodka garnished with pickled okra, olives, lemon slice, lime slice & Vicious thick-cut bacon.

Crave Kitchen & Cocktails

The mission at Crave is to serve up exceptional dishes with classic cocktails and let me tell you; they do not disappoint! Unlike the more casual Vicious Biscuit, Crave is slightly upscale but it is still casual enough to relax and enjoy yourself for brunch. If you have never been, you absolutely MUST try their famous mac & cheese, but I also recommend their Seafood Scramble and their Tasso Ham & Shrimp Hash.

Vintage Coffee Cafe

First of all, when you arrive at Vintage Coffee Cafe, you would swear you stepped right into a southern dream, it is equal parts beautiful and adorable! I love their variety and the fact that the prices are really reasonable here. They also have some of the best healthy options including their Salmon Toast and their crave-worthy PB Cocoa Banana Acai Bowl which comes with Puréed frozen Açai berries topped with housemade Granola, Chocolate shavings, Banana slices & Peanut Butter.

Five Loaves Cafe

Five Loaves is actually one of my favorite restaurants in Mount Pleasant for any meal but I wasn’t even aware until recently that they had a brunch menu I was so pumped when I found out they do! They have really embraced southern cooking with their brunch menu while maintaining their commitment to serve you fresh, quality, local ingredients. Fan favorites from the brunch menu include their Chicken and Waffles, Brunch Enchilada, and their Veggie Bennie.
